Why I Started This Newsletter
I’ve been a solo for the past three-plus years and have tried almost every model along the way. Fractional leadership, productized consulting, advisory, coaching, and even attempts at building an agency. Each version came with its own lessons about what creates freedom and what quietly erodes it.
What became obvious is that solos aren’t struggling because they lack talent. They’re struggling because they’re navigating huge decisions alone—What should I sell? How should I structure my work? How do I grow without adding complexity?—while being bombarded with tactics and advice that don’t fit their goals or their season of life.
That’s why I started the 10x Solo community. A place where independents can compare notes, ask better questions, and build smarter businesses without feeling like they have to follow someone else’s blueprint.
